Is there a way I can get my stats to post?  Haven't been on TDR in a while.

Also, I won some limited admin privileges in a contest a while back, do I still have those?

Contrary to what you might think, I have no problem with you or with your playing on the ruxpin servers. You are not being targeted or singled out due to any perceived grudge. Just stop the griefing.

Sorry, but I called bullshit on you "watching" and will continue to do so because I wasn't fucking griefing...nor do I even have any sort of fence section currently in any of my keybinds.  If I were actually doing it, and you had actually seen me doing it...then wouldn't you have said something when the items were being spawned everywhere instead of waiting until several minutes later?  Besides, if you were watching anything you would have seen that I was the one spawning the big concrete blocks, not the fences.  If me spawning those was griefing, even though the person spawning fences was obviously the problem here, then I'll be more than happy to accept that blame.  What I will not do is accept the blame for something I didn't do.

Again, you continue to accuse me of the same old tired shit you accused me of back in the day...shit that I did not and still not do.  If this is going to be a problem, then that's your call and I can easily find other servers to play on.  If it's dropped, then it's dropped and everyone can move on.

I have no "grudge" against you for your past griefing, but I do take a player's history into consideration when dealing with present griefing.

Also, your ban is for a whole 30 minutes so go play your violin or something to pass the time, and you'll be back to griefing before you know it.

As for you and your friend skull king, I remember him too. The two of you used to drop cars on other players and spam gas cans to kill other players before prop_physics_create was disabled.

And as for what happened this evening.. all but one survivor, Hillfinger, was dead - myself, conner, and Johnny. Conner has a grand total of 41 minutes logged on the ruxpin servers, all of which he had spent playing with Hillfinger and I without incident, and who was very clearly a new player. Then Johnny joined and fences began popping up everywhere around Hillfinger until he couldn't move. He did not die from an infected or a molotov (which had already been set to 0 damage). He died because the server kills the last surviving player if they become trapped within an object.

I was just accused of griefing by epz, who then banned me.  I have had run-ins with this kid in the past, numerous times...one person on my friends list in particular could confirm since he was always in-game with me.  This was prior to his apparent admin status, and prior to the launch of l4d2.

I have been around the forum and the servers for some time now, and have contributed plenty of times in the form of reporting bugs, rule breakers, etc.  There are countless ruxpin regulars that could not only vouch for me, but would agree that I'm a good player that doesn't start crap or cause problems.  If any opinions are needed beyond that, ask the SGS guys...I've played on their servers enough and still talk to several of them on occasion.

I'd like my ban to removed, at the least.  I'd also appreciate it if epz didn't make threats or use admin powers against me based on some sort of unreasonable grudge.

EDIT:  To better explain what was going on during this event...there was 1 survivor left in the sewers of No Mercy, while myself/epz/one other player were dead.  I was in free-look spectate mode flying around the map, particular the mini-city map hidden below the real map.  The survivor said something, I don't recall what it was, so I flew back up to him and noticed fences being built everywhere.  I spawned a couple big concrete blocks, then the survivor died from either infected or a molo he threw.  After we restarted in the saferoom...

The second he said "still griefing, johnny?" I knew exactly who the hell he was.  He used to accuse myself and my buddy skull king of the same crap back in the day, among other things.  I always thought he would be the one spawning/deleting/rotating shit back then when he would blame us for it, which would explain my comment to him above.  I could have went without the "nancy fucker" comment...but I'm so tired of this kid, and was completely amazed that he had somehow received admin.

Oh what has happened to the faithful and original players of Ruxpin. What has happened to our Teddy? Oh and what has happened to the gang of awesome TF2 players in the once great turbo servers.

To me it seems Turbo has fallen off its global gaming and has fallen into a pit of endless Left for Dead gaming. Every Board has been swarmed with these random left 4 dead players.

I guess what I'm inquiring is who is left from the good days? Before Left 4 Dead blew up and took over like the infection it features.

Hey insaneiac,

    True, the old diehards haven't been populating Ruxpin servers lately. It has been dropping off ever since the "Skaterboy/Takelon/Mrs.Insaneiac incident of '09", at least that is what I am titling it. Teddy and I had half a dozen PMs to try to get the SGCGuns servers back on the Ruxpin stats, but we eventually gave up. I had already set up our own stats site in case it was needed, so I just tied our servers into it and started over. Now we have 4 TurboL4D1 servers and 8 TurboL4D2 servers (and partly modded TF2 and CSS servers). As more players play on our servers and enjoy the servers and playing with us, some have put their own servers together and asked to be tied into our group and our clan. We have a few more part time and test servers for L4D, L4D2, CSS and a TF2 server that I have been modding. Five of us in the Ruxpin Top 10 stats have been working at the SGCGuns sites and, with the new server owners and admins over the last six months, adding some structure to how things are done.

    Personally, what I think should happen to liven up the Ruxpin stats is to take a capture of the top 100 ranks on the stats and post it to save it for posterity. Next, wipe the stats and start over. Why? I feel that this last time that Teddy jacked up the points, the Top 10-20 players got so many points that it may seem out of reach and be too much work to care about getting in the Top 10. If the stats get wiped out and start from scratch- free for all baby! The playing field is leveled and the race is on to get on top and stay on top. The contest has resumed and there are new contenders that are going to be on the servers more for bragging rights. But... that is my opinion.
